As a key member of our contracts department, you will play a vital role in managing the full lifecycle of federal agreements, ensuring compliance with federal regulations, and supporting our mission-critical projects.
Responsibilities
- Manage the contract lifecycle: Oversee contract administration from initiation through solicitation, award, and closeout to ensure seamless execution.
- Ensure FAR Compliance: Interpret and apply the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and agency-specific supplemental regulations to all contract activities.
- Vendor Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors and subcontractors, resolving issues and facilitating performance.
- Financial Reporting: Monitor contract budgets, track costs against expenditures, and prepare accurate monthly and quarterly financial reports.
- Change Control: Process contract modifications, change orders, and claims while assessing impacts on scope, cost, and schedule.
- Proposal Support: Assist in the preparation of proposals and pricing strategies for new federal business opportunities.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Contract Management, or a related field is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in federal or government contracting administration.
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS).
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and contract management software (e.g., Deltek GovWin, SAP).
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with senior leadership and government officials.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in data entry, document review, and reporting.
