Responsibilities
- Manage and process federal grant applications and compliance documentation with precision.
- Conduct regular audits of state and local program data to ensure adherence to federal guidelines.
- Communicate complex policy changes to stakeholders and internal team members effectively.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to streamline government service delivery processes.
- Prepare weekly reports and presentations for senior management and government oversight committees.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in secure federal databases.
- Assist in the onboarding and training of new staff members within the department.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business, or a related field preferred; High School diploma with significant relevant experience considered.
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen or hold a valid Green Card for Federal contracting eligibility.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in government contracting, administrative support, or public sector roles.
- Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and government-specific database software.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to write clear, professional correspondence.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to review complex documentation for errors and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work occasional overtime or adjust schedules to meet project deadlines.
