Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of federal contracts, from initiation through closeout, ensuring strict adherence to federal regulations and internal policies.
- Conduct thorough compliance audits and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities in contract management processes.
- Coordinate closely with government agencies and internal stakeholders to resolve contract disputes and ensure timely deliverables.
- Prepare and review high-level contract reports, pricing analyses, and compliance documentation for senior leadership review.
- Monitor market trends and pricing data to ensure our proposals remain competitive for future federal opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of all contract modifications, amendments, and renewals in the company's secure database.
- Support the preparation of responses to Request for Proposals (RFPs) during the weekend shift period.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Political Science, or a related field is required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in federal contracting, government relations, or a related administrative role.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess (or be eligible to obtain) the required security clearance (e.g., Secret or Top Secret).
- Strong knowledge of FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation) and DOD policies is highly desirable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft complex legal and technical documents.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and contract management software.
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment during the assigned weekend shift.
