Responsibilities
- Review and analyze federal contract requests to ensure compliance with agency policies and federal regulations (FAR).
- Prepare and issue contracts, modifications, and purchase orders in a timely and accurate manner.
- Monitor contract performance, track deliverables, and manage vendor relationships.
- Conduct contract closeouts and ensure all documentation is filed correctly in the federal system.
- Communicate contract terms and conditions to internal teams and external vendors clearly and effectively.
- Resolve contract disputes and issues while maintaining positive business relationships.
- Assist in the development of contract templates and standard operating procedures.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Paralegal Studies, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in contract administration, procurement, or a related field within the government or defense sector.
- Strong working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and other relevant government procurement guidelines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to draft complex legal and business documents.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and Word.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
