Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 & 3 technical support for federal agency networks and systems.
- Implement and enforce strict cybersecurity protocols and compliance standards (NIST).
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and security audits to mitigate risks.
- Manage hardware and software inventory, ensuring accurate tracking and lifecycle management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
- Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, troubleshooting steps, and incident reports.
- Train junior staff and stakeholders on new technologies and security best practices.
Qualifications
- Active Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one (US Citizenship required).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent military/technical experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT support, network administration, or cybersecurity.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Network+, or CISSP are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Linux environments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interfacing with government stakeholders.
