Responsibilities
- Manage, monitor, and maintain the local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN) infrastructure.
- Ensure the security and integrity of government data in compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues.
- Perform regular system backups, updates, and disaster recovery planning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new IT solutions and improve workflow efficiency.
- Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations and technical procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Active Public Trust or Secret Security Clearance (preferred).
- 5+ years of professional experience in IT systems administration.
- Proficiency with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Cisco networking equipment.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices and compliance standards (NIST, HIPAA).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
