Responsibilities
- Monitor inmate activities and enforce facility regulations
- Conduct security patrols and headcounts
- Respond to emergencies and incidents with appropriate force
- Prepare detailed incident and security reports
- Screen visitors and incoming packages
- Maintain perimeter security and surveillance systems
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies
- Enforce federal correctional policies and procedures
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Valid state driver's license
- Pass background investigation and polygraph
- Physical fitness test completion
- High school diploma or equivalent (college preferred)
- No felony convictions
- Ability to work rotating weekends
- Basic computer proficiency
