Responsibilities
- Front Desk Operations: Greet and direct visitors, answer multi-line phones, and manage the front reception area professionally.
- Administrative Support: Perform general clerical duties including filing, photocopying, and scanning documents.
- Data Entry: Input and maintain accurate records in the federal database and case management systems.
- Correspondence: Draft, proofread, and distribute internal and external correspondence.
- Mail Management: Sort, process, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
- Record Keeping: Maintain organized filing systems in accordance with federal standards.
- Special Projects: Assist staff with ad-hoc projects and special event coordination.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: No prior federal or professional experience is necessary. We provide comprehensive on-the-job training.
- Skills: Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook) and typing skills (40 WPM preferred).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- Background: Ability to pass a standard background check and security clearance process.
- Reliability: Punctuality and a strong work ethic are essential.
