Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to cyber threats against federal systems and networks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on critical infrastructure
- Develop and implement advanced cybersecurity protocols and incident response plans
- Collaborate with federal agencies to share threat intelligence and best practices
- Lead cybersecurity awareness training programs for federal personnel
- Ensure compliance with NIST, FISMA, and other federal cybersecurity standards
- Generate comprehensive cybersecurity reports for senior leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, threat analysis, or IT security
- Active CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certification required
- Expertise in SIEM tools, penetration testing, and incident response protocols
- Deep understanding of federal compliance frameworks (NIST, FISMA, CUI)
- TS/SCI security clearance eligibility
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex technical data
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
