Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain robust IT systems and network infrastructure to ensure high availability and security for city operations.
- Analyze complex technical requirements and provide strategic solutions to support municipal departments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and streamline workflows.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and perform routine maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local cybersecurity standards and regulations.
- Conduct training sessions for staff on new software applications and IT best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in systems analysis, network administration, or IT support within a government or enterprise environment.
- Strong proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, TCP/IP networking, and virtualization technologies.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure or AWS) and database management systems (e.g., SQL) is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Possession of a valid Driver’s License and willingness to travel to various city facilities.
