Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze cyber threats against federal systems using advanced SIEM tools
- Develop and implement security protocols compliant with NIST and FISMA standards
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on federal networks
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams during incident response and mitigation
- Generate comprehensive security reports and executive briefings
- Maintain active security clearances and adhere to federal IT regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 3 years of cybersecurity experience in federal/government sector
- Active CISSP, Security+, or CompTIA Security+ certification
