Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust cybersecurity protocols to protect federal systems
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on critical infrastructure
- Lead incident response teams during security breaches and cyber attacks
- Develop security awareness training programs for federal personnel
- Ensure compliance with NIST, FISMA, and other federal security standards
- Collaborate with DHS, FBI, and other agencies on joint security initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- 5+ years of cybersecurity experience with federal systems
- Active Security+ CE and CISSP certifications required
- Expertise in network security, encryption, and threat detection
- Experience with SIEM platforms and security automation tools
- Ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret security clearance
- Demonstrated knowledge of federal IT security frameworks
