Role Overview
As a Night Shift Analyst, you will be responsible for monitoring federal networks, identifying vulnerabilities, and responding to security incidents outside of standard business hours. This is a pivotal role for maintaining the integrity of our government contracts.
Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems for real-time threat detection and alerts.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and apply security patches to federal systems during off-hours.
- Investigate and remediate security incidents with minimal disruption to operations.
- Document incident reports and maintain accurate logs for compliance audits.
- Collaborate with the team to implement best practices for network defense.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for internal federal clients.
Qualifications
- Active Top Secret Security Clearance (SCI eligible).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in network security or IT support.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, Security+, or CEH.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, or related field.
- Strong understanding of federal compliance standards (NIST, FISMA).
- Ability to work rotating night shifts effectively.
