Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain federal cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, FISMA) across agency systems
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing for classified networks
- Lead incident response protocols for security breaches and cyberattacks
- Develop and execute security awareness training programs for federal employees
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams on threat intelligence sharing
- Manage security audits and compliance reporting for regulatory bodies
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance (required)
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in federal IT security or government compliance
- CompTIA Security+ and CISSP certifications (or equivalent)
- Expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, and cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Strong understanding of zero-trust architecture and defense-in-depth strategies
- Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and vulnerability scanners
