Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze network traffic for security threats during weekend shifts
- Respond to and document cybersecurity incidents in real-time
- Implement and maintain security protocols across federal systems
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams on threat intelligence sharing
- Generate comprehensive security incident reports
- Stay current with emerging cyber threats and mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI security clearance required
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity analysis
- Proficiency with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, ArcSight)
- Knowledge of NIST frameworks and federal compliance standards
- Certification in Security+ or CISSP preferred
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts (Fri-Sun)
