Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain NIST-compliant cybersecurity frameworks for federal systems
- Monitor network traffic and respond to security incidents within 15-minute SLA
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on classified networks
- Develop incident response plans and disaster recovery protocols
- Collaborate with federal agencies on threat intelligence sharing
- Train federal employees on security best practices and phishing awareness
- Ensure compliance with FISMA, HIPAA, and CUI regulations
Qualifications
- Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance (mandatory)
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years' experience in federal IT security roles
- Certification in CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
- Expertise in SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and firewalls
- Knowledge of FedRAMP and CMMC frameworks
- Ability to work rotating on-call shifts for emergency response
