Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain federal cybersecurity protocols across classified and unclassified systems
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on government networks
- Monitor security incidents using SIEM platforms and respond to cyber threats
- Develop and update security documentation including SOPs and compliance reports
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams on threat intelligence sharing
- Train federal personnel on security best practices and incident response
- Ensure compliance with NIST FISMA and CMMC frameworks
Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 5+ years experience in federal IT security environments
- Certifications: CISSP, Security+, and one of (CEH, CISA, CompTIA CySA+)
- Proficiency in AWS/Azure cloud security tools and CIS benchmarks
- Experience with incident response (IR) playbooks and forensic analysis
- Knowledge of FedRAMP and DoD cybersecurity standards
- Ability to obtain and maintain IT-II certification
