Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain federal IT infrastructure including network systems, databases, and security protocols
- Implement cybersecurity measures to protect sensitive government data and systems
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for federal employees across multiple agencies
- Develop and document IT policies compliant with federal regulations (FISMA, NIST)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system upgrades and security enhancements
- Monitor system performance and implement optimization strategies
- Ensure compliance with federal IT procurement and asset management policies
- Lead disaster recovery planning and incident response protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in federal IT systems or government contracting
- Active Security+ CE or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Familiarity with FISMA compliance frameworks and NIST standards
- Strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot complex IT issues
- Excellent communication skills for technical documentation and stakeholder reporting
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain federal security clearance
