Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor advanced intrusion detection/prevention systems across federal networks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on classified and unclassified systems
- Develop incident response plans and coordinate breach mitigation protocols
- Ensure compliance with NIST, FISMA, and FedRAMP security frameworks
- Lead cross-agency cybersecurity initiatives and threat intelligence sharing
- Manage security access controls and identity management systems
- Train federal personnel on cybersecurity best practices
Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 5+ years experience in enterprise security operations
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Experience with federal IT security frameworks and compliance requirements
- Strong analytical skills and ability to document complex security protocols
