Responsibilities
- Analyze complex federal datasets to identify trends and anomalies in veteran healthcare utilization
- Develop interactive dashboards using Tableau and Power BI for executive reporting
- Ensure compliance with federal data security protocols (FISMA, HIPAA)
- Collaborate with cross-agency stakeholders to define analytical requirements
- Present findings to senior leadership through compelling visual narratives
- Maintain data integrity through rigorous quality control procedures
- Support strategic planning by forecasting healthcare demand patterns
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years experience with federal data systems (VA, CMS, CDC)
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas), and R
- Certification in Tableau or Power BI (required)
- Expert knowledge of federal data privacy regulations
- Experience with VA-specific data platforms (CDW, VistA)
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex data for non-technical audiences
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain one
