Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and transform complex datasets from various federal sources into structured formats suitable for analysis.
- Develop and maintain advanced data models, dashboards, and visualizations using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik.
- Perform statistical analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and patterns that inform strategic recommendations for federal stakeholders.
- Ensure all data processes adhere to strict federal compliance standards and security protocols (e.g., NIST, FISMA).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and communicate findings effectively through clear, concise reports.
- Conduct audits of data pipelines to ensure accuracy, completeness, and reliability of information.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in data analysis, preferably within the federal government or defense contracting sector.
- Active Top Secret (TS) clearance or the ability to obtain one is required.
- Proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating large databases.
- Strong programming skills in Python or R for advanced data manipulation and statistical modeling.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI) and documentation standards (DoD DI-MGMT-81361).
