Responsibilities
- Analyze complex federal datasets using SQL, Python, and R to identify trends and anomalies
- Develop interactive dashboards in Tableau/Power BI for executive reporting
- Ensure compliance with federal data security protocols (NIST, FISMA)
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to support disaster response initiatives
- Prepare detailed technical documentation and data quality assessments
- Support audit preparation and regulatory compliance reporting
- Train junior analysts on federal data handling procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, or related field
- 3+ years of federal government data analysis experience
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python (Pandas, NumPy)
- Security clearance eligibility (or current clearance preferred)
- Expert knowledge of federal data privacy regulations (HIPAA, PII handling)
- Tableau/Power BI certification or equivalent experience
- Experience with large-scale dataset processing (100M+ records)
- Strong written communication for technical reporting
