Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on federal networks and systems.
- Develop, implement, and monitor information security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with NIST and federal standards.
- Respond to and mitigate cybersecurity incidents, including malware analysis and incident response planning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Perform regular security audits and compliance checks to maintain federal accreditation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Active Top Secret Security Clearance (or the ability to obtain one).
- Certification such as CISSP, Security+, or CEH is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or information assurance.
- Strong knowledge of federal security frameworks (e.g., FISMA, DIACAP).
