Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret complex datasets to support strategic decision-making for federal agencies
- Develop and maintain automated data pipelines using SQL, Python, and R for real-time intelligence
- Create interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau and Power BI
- Ensure compliance with federal data security protocols (NIST, FISMA) and privacy regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights for policy development
- Present findings to senior leadership through clear, concise reports and presentations
- Lead data quality initiatives and implement best practices for data governance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in data analytics with federal government or DoD contractors
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and statistical analysis tools
- Experience with data visualization platforms (Tableau, Power BI) and ETL processes
- Active Secret security clearance (ability to obtain Top Secret required)
- Familiarity with federal data standards (FISMA, NIST SP 800-53)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
