Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale healthcare data sets to identify trends and support veteran service improvements
- Develop automated reporting dashboards using SQL, Python, and Tableau for executive decision-making
- Ensure data integrity across VA systems while maintaining strict HIPAA and federal compliance standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into data solutions
- Present findings to senior leadership through visualizations and comprehensive documentation
- Maintain data governance frameworks and implement quality control protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years experience in data analysis with federal or healthcare data systems
- Proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas), and data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI)
- Strong understanding of federal data regulations (HIPAA, FISMA, 21st Century Cures Act)
- Experience with ETL processes and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
