Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale federal datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and actionable insights
- Develop and maintain automated data pipelines for secure federal information systems
- Create interactive visualizations and comprehensive reports for government stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with federal data standards (FISMA, HIPAA, PII protocols)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support evidence-based decision-making
- Implement statistical models to forecast policy outcomes and resource allocation needs
- Document methodologies and maintain data integrity frameworks
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience with federal data systems and compliance requirements
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and R for data manipulation
- Strong knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, D3.js)
- Familiarity with federal security protocols and data governance frameworks
- Experience with geospatial analysis and time-series forecasting
- Ability to present complex findings to non-technical stakeholders
- Active government security clearance or ability to obtain one
