Responsibilities
- Analyze complex veteran healthcare datasets using SQL, Python, and R to identify trends and performance metrics
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau/Power BI to support strategic decision-making
- Ensure data integrity through rigorous validation protocols and compliance with federal regulations (HIPAA, FISMA)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate analytical findings into actionable policy recommendations
- Present findings to senior leadership through concise executive summaries and data-driven narratives
- Maintain documentation of data processes, methodologies, and quality control measures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of professional data analysis experience with federal or healthcare data
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and data visualization tools
- Demonstrated knowledge of federal data regulations and compliance standards
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to translate complex data into business insights
- Experience with ETL processes and data warehousing methodologies
- Ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance
