Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale federal datasets using SQL, Python, and advanced statistical methods
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations for executive decision-making
- Ensure data integrity and compliance with federal reporting standards (FISMA, OMB)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven recommendations
- Present findings to senior leadership through compelling data narratives
- Maintain documentation of data processes and quality controls
- Support ad-hoc requests from congressional stakeholders and agency partners
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or related field
- 3+ years of professional data analysis experience with federal datasets preferred
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and data visualization tools
- Strong knowledge of statistical analysis and hypothesis testing methodologies
- Experience with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- U.S. citizenship required
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain one (if applicable)
