Responsibilities
- Analyze complex federal datasets using SQL, Python, and SAS to generate actionable insights
- Create visualizations and reports for Department of Defense and intelligence agency stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with federal data security protocols (NIST, FISMA) and classification standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop data-driven solutions for federal initiatives
- Maintain and optimize data pipelines supporting real-time analysis
- Present findings to senior leadership through executive dashboards and briefings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years experience with federal government data analysis projects
- Proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Active Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Knowledge of federal data regulations (HIPAA, FOIA, Privacy Act)
- Experience with large-scale data warehousing and ETL processes
- Certification in data analytics or federal compliance (e.g., CISSP, CIPP) a plus
