Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale federal datasets using SQL, Python, and R to inform policy recommendations
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau/Power BI for executive stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with federal data security protocols (FISMA, HIPAA) and privacy regulations
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to standardize data collection methodologies
- Present findings to congressional committees and agency leadership through compelling data narratives
- Maintain data integrity through rigorous validation and quality control processes
- Lead special projects on emerging data technologies (AI/ML integration, blockchain applications)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Public Policy, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years experience in federal/government data analysis with security clearance eligibility
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and statistical modeling
- Expertise in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, D3.js)
- Familiarity with federal data standards (FISMA, OMB guidelines, GDPR)
- Proven ability to translate complex analyses for non-technical stakeholders
- Certification in data governance (CDMP) or federal compliance (CAMS) required
- Remote work experience with asynchronous collaboration tools
