Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret complex federal datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for optimization
- Design and implement automated data pipelines using SQL, Python, and R for federal compliance reporting
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau/Power BI to support strategic decision-making
- Ensure adherence to federal data security protocols (FISMA, HIPAA) and privacy regulations
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to define data requirements and deliver actionable insights
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for senior leadership and congressional committees
- Maintain and enhance data quality frameworks for federal compliance audits
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years experience in federal data analysis with demonstrated knowledge of federal regulations
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and statistical analysis tools
- Expertise in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js)
- Familiarity with federal data systems (e.g., FedRAMP, HHS Data Warehouse)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Professional certification (e.g., AWS Data Analytics, CISSP) highly valued
