Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale federal datasets using SQL, Python, and R to identify trends and anomalies
- Develop automated reporting dashboards for senior leadership using Tableau and Power BI
- Ensure compliance with federal data standards (FISMA, NIST) and security protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic planning and policy development
- Present findings to stakeholders through executive-level data visualizations and briefings
- Maintain data integrity through rigorous validation and quality control procedures
- Support ad-hoc analysis requests for congressional inquiries and agency reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience with federal data systems and compliance requirements
- Proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and statistical analysis tools
- Certification in data visualization (Tableau or Power BI) required
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain Secret clearance
- Experience with federal reporting standards (e.g., OMB, GAO)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical audiences
- Knowledge of DoD data ecosystems and classification protocols
