Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale federal datasets to support veteran healthcare outcomes
- Develop automated data pipelines and visualization dashboards using SQL/Python
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, FISMA, and other federal data regulations
- Present findings to senior leadership through executive-level reports and presentations
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement data governance frameworks
- Maintain data quality through rigorous validation and documentation processes
- Support continuous improvement of federal data systems and analytics tools
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years experience with federal data systems and compliance requirements
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas), and data visualization tools (Tableau)
- Certification in federal data security protocols (e.g., IAM, FedRAMP)
- Experience with EHR systems (VistA, Epic) preferred
- Strong analytical skills with attention to regulatory accuracy
- Ability to obtain and maintain government security clearance
