Responsibilities
- Analyze complex healthcare datasets to identify trends and inform federal policy decisions
- Ensure data compliance with HIPAA, FISMA, and other federal regulations
- Develop interactive dashboards using Tableau/Power BI for stakeholder reporting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design data-driven solutions
- Validate data integrity and implement quality control protocols
- Present findings to senior leadership through concise executive summaries
- Stay current with evolving federal data standards and reporting requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Public Health, or related field
- 3+ years experience in federal data analysis or government reporting
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and R
- Advanced knowledge of HIPAA/FISMA compliance frameworks
- Certification in Tableau or Power BI (preferred)
- Experience with large-scale healthcare datasets (Medicare/Medicaid a plus)
- Ability to obtain and maintain federal security clearance
