Responsibilities
- Analyze federal health datasets using SQL, Python, and R to identify trends and anomalies
- Develop interactive dashboards in Tableau/Power BI for federal stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with FISMA, HIPAA, and federal data governance standards
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams on public health research projects
- Present findings to senior leadership through executive summaries
- Maintain data integrity across federal reporting systems
- Support emergency response data initiatives during public health crises
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Public Health, or related field
- 3+ years experience with federal data systems (CMS, CDC, HHS databases)
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas), and statistical modeling
- Government security clearance eligibility (ability to obtain)
- Strong knowledge of federal data privacy regulations (HIPAA, FISMA)
- Certification in Tableau or Power BI preferred
- Experience with public health data analysis a plus
