Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale datasets using SQL, Python, and R to support defense operations
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau/Power BI for leadership briefings
- Conduct statistical modeling to forecast trends and identify potential security threats
- Ensure compliance with federal data standards (FISMA, NIST) and security protocols
- Collaborate with intelligence analysts to provide data-driven recommendations
- Document methodologies and maintain data quality pipelines
- Present findings to senior leadership through concise executive reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years experience in data analysis with federal government or DoD contractors
- Proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and statistical analysis tools
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, D3.js)
- Active Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Familiarity with federal data regulations (FISMA, HIPAA, 5 UCFR Part 930)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work with classified data in secure environments
