Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Processing: Gather, clean, and validate large datasets from various federal sources to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform complex statistical modeling and trend analysis to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and emerging patterns.
- Dashboard Creation: Design and maintain interactive data visualizations using tools like Tableau or PowerBI to present findings to stakeholders.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed reports and briefings for government clients, translating technical data into actionable insights.
- Compliance: Ensure all data handling processes adhere to federal regulations, security protocols, and internal governance standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts to define data requirements and solve complex analytical problems.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the federal government or defense contracting sector.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL for querying databases, Python or R for scripting, and experience with visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, or similar).
- Security Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret or Top Secret clearance is highly preferred.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Tools: Familiarity with ERD tools, ETL processes, and Agile methodologies is a plus.
