Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and interpret complex datasets from federal and state government sources.
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau or Power BI to communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with program managers to define data requirements, identify key performance indicators (KPIs), and solve complex business problems.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with strict federal security and privacy regulations (e.g., FISMA, NIST).
- Perform statistical analysis to forecast trends and evaluate program effectiveness.
- Prepare detailed reports and executive summaries for leadership briefings.
- Maintain and optimize data models and documentation to support future reporting needs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in data analysis, preferably within the federal government or a large enterprise environment.
- Proficiency in SQL for database querying, data extraction, and manipulation.
- Strong experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik).
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
- US Citizenship is required for this role due to federal contract requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
