Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret complex federal datasets to identify trends and support evidence-based decision-making
- Develop automated reporting systems for regulatory compliance and performance metrics
- Collaborate with agency leadership to design data-driven solutions for public service challenges
- Ensure adherence to federal data security protocols (FISMA, HIPAA, etc.)
- Create interactive dashboards using Tableau/Power BI for stakeholder presentations
- Conduct statistical analysis to evaluate program effectiveness and recommend improvements
- Document data processes and maintain comprehensive metadata repositories
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years experience in data analysis with federal/government sector exposure
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas/Numpy), and R
- Expertise in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, D3.js)
- Familiarity with federal data governance frameworks and compliance requirements
- Strong statistical modeling and predictive analytics capabilities
