Responsibilities
- Collect, cleanse, and preprocess large-scale datasets from diverse federal sources, ensuring high data quality and accuracy.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards using Tableau or Power BI to visualize complex metrics and trends for stakeholders.
- Perform advanced statistical analysis and predictive modeling to identify patterns, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Ensure strict adherence to federal data governance standards, compliance regulations, and security protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and briefings for senior leadership and government clients, communicating findings clearly and concisely.
- Maintain and optimize existing data pipelines and ETL processes to improve system performance.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in data analysis, preferably within a federal government or defense contracting environment.
- Strong proficiency in SQL (querying, joins, stored procedures) and programming languages such as Python or R.
- Experience with data visualization tools, specifically Tableau or Power BI, is required.
- Demonstrated knowledge of federal compliance standards (e.g., NIST, FedRAMP) and data security best practices.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret or Top Secret security clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
