Responsibilities
- Analyze complex federal datasets using SQL, Python, and R to identify trends in veteran healthcare outcomes
- Design interactive dashboards using Tableau/Power BI for executive decision-making
- Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA, FERPA, and federal data security protocols
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to develop standardized data governance frameworks
- Present findings to congressional committees and VA leadership
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives for data collection methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years experience analyzing federal/government datasets
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas), and statistical modeling
- Expert knowledge of federal data compliance regulations (HIPAA, FISMA, etc.)
- Tableau/Power BI certification with portfolio of federal dashboards
- Active Secret security clearance or ability to obtain immediately
- Experience with veteran healthcare systems (VA, DoD) highly preferred
