Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Integrity: Gather, cleanse, and validate large-scale federal datasets from various internal and external sources, ensuring strict compliance with federal standards.
- Advanced Analytics: Perform complex statistical analysis and predictive modeling to identify trends, anomalies, and actionable insights for program managers.
- Visualization & Reporting: Design and develop interactive dashboards and executive summaries using Tableau or PowerBI to communicate complex data findings clearly.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with technical teams and subject matter experts to define data requirements and translate business needs into analytical solutions.
- Database Management: Utilize SQL and Python to query databases, extract specific data sets, and automate reporting processes.
- Compliance & Security: Ensure all data handling processes adhere to strict federal guidelines, including NDA protocols and security clearance requirements.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Data Analyst within the federal government or a cleared contracting environment.
- Clearance: Current Secret or Top Secret clearance is highly preferred; active clearance is a major plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, Oracle, or SQL Server) and programming languages such as Python or R.
- Tools: Strong working knowledge of data visualization tools like Tableau, PowerBI, or QlikView.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex data to non-technical stakeholders.
