Responsibilities
- Perform complex data mining, cleaning, and statistical modeling to support federal research initiatives and reporting requirements.
- Design and develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau and PowerBI to present complex data findings to senior stakeholders.
- Ensure strict adherence to federal data privacy regulations, compliance standards (e.g., FISMA, NIST), and security protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical data solutions and analytical methodologies.
- Conduct quality assurance on data sets to identify errors, anomalies, and trends that may affect federal program outcomes.
- Prepare detailed reports, memos, and presentations summarizing analytical results and recommendations for federal agencies.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the federal government, healthcare, or consulting sectors.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation; experience with Python or R is a plus.
- Expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or Qlik.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance (or equivalent federal clearance).
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of federal regulations, data governance, and information security best practices.
