Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale healthcare datasets to support veterans' healthcare outcomes
- Develop automated reporting systems for federal compliance and performance metrics
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize data collection methodologies
- Present findings to senior leadership through executive dashboards and briefings
- Ensure all data practices align with federal regulations (HIPAA, FISMA)
- Lead data quality initiatives and implement validation protocols
- Support strategic decision-making with predictive modeling and trend analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years experience in federal data analysis or healthcare data roles
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, and R for data manipulation
- Certification in federal data management (e.g., CDO-100) strongly preferred
- Expertise in creating executive-level data visualizations (Tableau, Power BI)
- Deep understanding of federal healthcare data systems (VistA, M2)
