Responsibilities
- Analyze federal healthcare datasets using SQL, Python, and R to identify trends and anomalies
- Create interactive Tableau dashboards for executive leadership and congressional reports
- Ensure compliance with FISMA, HIPAA, and federal data governance standards
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to harmonize data collection methodologies
- Present findings to senior officials through concise visualizations and executive summaries
- Maintain data integrity across federal health information systems
- Support emergency response initiatives through real-time data modeling
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Public Health, or related field
- 3+ years experience with federal data systems (Medicare/Medicaid claims, NHANES, etc.)
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas), and data visualization tools
- FISMA certification or equivalent data security training
- Demonstrated experience with federal reporting requirements
- Strong written communication for policy audiences
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain one
