Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale federal datasets using SQL, Python, and R to identify trends and anomalies
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations for executive stakeholders using Tableau/Power BI
- Ensure compliance with federal data privacy regulations (FISMA, HIPAA) and security protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and deliver actionable insights
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for senior leadership and congressional briefings
- Maintain and optimize data pipelines for accuracy and efficiency
- Stay current with emerging data technologies and methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of professional data analysis experience in federal/government sector
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas/Numpy), and statistical analysis tools
- Certification in data visualization (Tableau, Power BI) or data engineering (AWS/GCP)
- Deep understanding of federal data governance frameworks and compliance standards
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to translate complex data into strategic recommendations
- Ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance
