Responsibilities
- Data Extraction & Analysis: Extract, clean, and interpret complex federal datasets to support decision-making processes and program evaluation.
- Visualization: Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations (using Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik) to communicate key performance indicators to stakeholders.
- Compliance & Governance: Ensure strict adherence to federal data governance policies, OMB Circular A-123, and FISMA security protocols.
- Trend Analysis: Conduct statistical analysis to identify trends, forecast outcomes, and validate program performance metrics.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to identify data gaps and optimize data-driven strategies.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed reports and briefings for government officials, translating complex data into understandable insights.
Qualifications
- Clearance: Active Top Secret (TS) clearance (or the ability to obtain one) is required.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience performing data analysis within a federal or government contracting environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL for database querying and reporting; experience with Python or R for statistical modeling.
- Tools: Strong experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView.
- Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex data to non-technical audiences.
- Security: Ability to maintain a clean background and adhere to all federal security regulations.
