Responsibilities
- Data Mining & Cleaning: Extract, transform, and load (ETL) large datasets from various sources, ensuring high data quality and accuracy for federal reporting.
- Advanced Analytics: Perform statistical analysis and predictive modeling to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within federal operational data.
- Visualization & Reporting: Develop interactive dashboards and compelling visual reports using Tableau or PowerBI to communicate complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all data handling processes adhere to federal regulations, security protocols (e.g., FedRAMP), and company documentation standards.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define metrics, and deliver solutions that meet agency objectives.
- System Optimization: Collaborate with IT teams to improve data infrastructure and reporting tools for enhanced efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the federal government or defense contracting sector.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL for database querying and experience with Python or R for data manipulation.
- Tools: Strong command of data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or QlikView.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical data into clear business insights.
- Security Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance (e.g., Secret or Top Secret) is a plus.
