Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and validate large volumes of federal data to ensure accuracy and compliance with government standards.
- Develop and maintain complex data models, dashboards, and reports using Tableau, Power BI, or SQL.
- Conduct statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that influence strategic planning.
- Collaborate with program managers and subject matter experts to define data requirements and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Ensure strict adherence to federal regulations, security protocols, and data privacy laws (e.g., FISMA, NIST).
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders through clear, concise written and visual documentation.
- Automate data extraction processes to increase efficiency and reduce manual reporting errors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the federal government or defense contracting sector.
- Proficiency in SQL for querying databases and experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik).
- Strong understanding of federal data classification standards and security clearance processes (Secret clearance preferred).
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to obtain a favorable background investigation and adhere to strict confidentiality agreements.
