Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather, clean, and validate large datasets from various federal sources to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform advanced statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that inform program decisions.
- Reporting & Visualization: Develop comprehensive reports and interactive dashboards using Tableau, PowerBI, or similar tools to present findings to stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with program managers and subject matter experts to translate complex data into understandable insights.
- Compliance Monitoring: Ensure all data handling processes comply with federal regulations and agency policies.
- Process Improvement: Recommend process improvements to enhance data retrieval speed and reporting efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the federal government, defense, or intelligence sectors.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R for data manipulation and analysis.
- Visualization: Strong experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, or similar).
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex data to non-technical audiences.
- Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Secret security clearance.
